Dear Neighbor,
For the past 26 years it has been my honor to represent you in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Once again I am asking for your trust and your vote.
People often ask me "how can you keep fighting in such a toxic environment?" The answer to that is easy. Over the years the people I represent have become more than constituents. They have become friends. Those of you who know me, know I will fight like hell for my friends.
Recently while cleaning my closet, I came across the orange t-shirt that the Assembly Democrats wore during the fight for collective bargaining rights. Looking at that shirt reminded me of the time we all came together to stand in support of Wisconsin workers. We all need to stand together again, this time against a serious attempt to strip us of every right that we have fought for and won in the last 100 years.
Being accessible to the people I represent has always been important to me and the office staff that serves the 20th Assembly District. I'm proud to have earned a reputation as one of the most accessible members of the legislature. So, as always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
As a politician, I try not to make empty promises that I know I can't keep just to earn your vote. The one promise I can make you is I will fight just as hard as I did while wearing that orange shirt.
Are you with me?
Chris
